Steamed Harvest



Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the beautiful artwork of Verymany which can be purchased here.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice – I used Organic Elements here

Vix Mask 451 here

Dangerously Delicious template Template 164 Salty Kisses here

Plug Ins used:
Xero – Porcelain
Brush Strokes – Crosshatch

“Steamed Harvest” is a PTU tagger size scrap kit created by Cindy of Scrappin’ with lil Ole Me and can be purchased from Mystical Scraps.  You can visit her blog here.  Thank you Cindy for such a fantastic kit!!  Another kit filled with awesomeness!

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Resize all layers 90%.
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 700
OK
Highlight “bg” layer.
Flood fill white.
Delete the top 7 layers, Light Blue Top Square, and Light Blue Bottom Square layers.
Open up “Purple Oval Outlines” layer.

Highlight Blue Strip layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Stroke Length: 9
Sharpness: 6
Strength: 1
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Aqua Strip layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 9 as a new layer.
Move the paper into a position so that the studs on the paper are evenly placed over the template – see my tag for reference.
Right click on the paper in your layers pallet and choose “Promote Section to Layer” from the sub menu.
Deselect.
Delete the Paper layer and template layer.
Give the Paper a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight Left Blue Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Use Same settings.
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Right Blue Rectangle layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Dashed Outlines layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight White Oval layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Use Same Settings.
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Purple Oval layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 23 as a new layer.
Right click on it in your layers pallet and choose “Promote Section to Layer” from the sub menu.
Deselect.
Delete the paper and template layer.

Highlight White Ovals layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Use Same Settings.
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Purple Ovals outline layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper layer a slight Inner Bevel:
Use same settings
OK

Highlight Aqua Ovals layer.
Click on each one with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 24 Into Selection.
Deselect for now.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
If you’re using the same tube as I did, resize 50%
Move into position in front of the center oval.
Paste your tube again (resize 70% if using the same as I did).
Apply Xero – Porcelain:
Use default settings accept move the Blue Channel button to 0.
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Use same settings.
OK
Change the Properties of this tube to Luminance Legacy and lower the Opacity to about 20.
In your layers pallet move this tube layer just above the tan ovals.
Move into position over the left oval – see my tag for reference.
Duplicate/Mirror
Highlight Aqua Ovals template layer.
Use your Magic Wand and click on the Left and Right ovals only.
To each of the tubes your change the Properties and lowered the Opacity of:
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste el133 as a new layer.
Use your erase tool and erase the tiny pinecone.
Resize 25%
Duplicate/Mirror
Move each of these elements into position near the bottom part of your tag – see my tag for reference.
Duplicate and flip each element and move into better position (if needed) near the top of your tag.

Add your elements.  I used:
El135 – Just paste this as a new layer just above your white background and it falls right into place.
El92:  Resize 20%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate and Mirror each one.
El75:  Resize 15%/Duplicate/Flip/Duplicate and mirror each one.
El28:  Resize 40%
El40:  Resize 70%
El73:  Resize 25%/Free Rotate Left 15 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror
El43:  Resize 60%/Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
El3:  Resize 80%
El145:  Resize 45%
El16:  Resize 35%
El113:  Resize 35%/Mirror

Highlight your white background.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the Mask.
Resize 110%
Merge Group.
Duplicate and move this one down just slightly.

Add your credits.

Add your name:
Foreground: #4d0b36
Background: #4e2c2f
Set the stroke at 1.0

Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel 2x’s:

Resize all layers 85%.
Close out the white background.
Save as a png.
