Santa's Naughty Little Elf


Supplies

1 tube of choice - I used the fantstic artwork of Fantasio which can be purchased from My Tubed Art.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Jellyka Delicious Cake here

Gem mask 71 here

"Holiday Wishes" is a megga size tagger size scrap kit created by Jessica of Gothic Inspirations and can be purchased from her store here.  You can visit her blog here.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let's get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Copy and paste Frame 6 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Free rotate Right 45 degrees
Duplicate
Resize 80%
Duplicate
Move all 3 frames into position - see my tag for reference.

To each frame:
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 25 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Add the following elements below the left frame, moving them into position using my tag for reference.  Don't worry about what 

overhangs the frames - we'll clean that up in a bit.
Snow Covering: Duplicate and move below the right frame.
Tree Pine:  Resize 25% and 50%/Duplicate and move below the right frame/Duplicate
Santa 2:  Resize 25% and 50%
Sleigh:  Resize 25% and 60% - move below the right frame.

Highlight the paper that belongs to the Left frame.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight each element that overhangs the frame and tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Highlight the paper that belongs to the Right frame.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight your white canvas.
Copy and paste Frame 2 as a new layer. 
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Duplicate
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 23 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the frame.
Tap the letter K on your keyboard to active your Pick Tool (so it makes the next step easier in moving the papers without having to close out layers to get to it).
In your layers pallet highlight either of the red paper layers and move it up at a diagonal just a little - see my tag for reference.
In your layers pallet highlight the other red paper layer and move it in the opposite direction of the other paper.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
If you're using the same tube as I did, resize 85%

Add the rest of your elements.  I used:
Bow:  Resize 20%/Duplicate/Mirror
Candles 2:  Resize 50%
Pines Garland:  Resize 60%/Duplicate/Mirror
Wreath Christmas:  Resize 85%
Bell:  Resize 40%
Bead:  Resize 15%/Duplicate 3x's
Glass Ball:  Resize 50%/Duplicate

Highlight your blank canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Duplicate

Add your credits.

Add your name:
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #292b2a
Background: Pattern/Paper 20
Stroke: 1.0

Close out the background color.
Make your Ellipse Tool active set on Circle.
Line Width: 2
Create a circle that's just a bit bigger than the wreath - 
Tip:  
Create a circle
Objects/Align/Center on Canvas.
Resize as needed until the circle is the size you want.

Reopen the background color in your color pallet.
Make your Text Tool active and run your mouse along the top center of it until you see a Rocking A.
Click your Mouse.
In the Text box type your name.
Apply.
In your layers pallet click on the plus sign.
Click on the eye of the New Ellipse layer to close that layer out.
Highlight Vector 1 layer.
Right Click your mouse and choose "Convert to Raster layer" from the sub menu.

Save your tag.
